Content License Agreement
This is the license you accept when you subscribe to the HumanRisk Studios direct enterprise plan. It is written in plain language on purpose. "We" and "us" means Roonik Films LLC, the producer and owner of the content. "You" means the organization whose representative accepts this license during sign-up, including its employees and contractors working on its internal systems. The short version of the deal: we make, you take.
1. What you get
While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the content in the HumanRisk Studios library for your organization's own internal security awareness program. Each release includes the finished video, subtitle files, a poster image, and metadata, and the library grows with each monthly release. Anything you download and put to use in your program while your subscription is active is yours to keep using internally, for good, even if you later cancel.
"Put to use" means assigned or made available to your workforce through your LMS, intranet, internal communication channels, or live training sessions as part of your active awareness program. Downloading alone does not count; bulk-downloading the library in anticipation of cancellation does not count as putting content to use.
2. What you can do
- Load the content into your LMS, intranet, internal communication channels, or live training sessions, for audiences inside your organization.
- Use every release in the library, past and future, for as long as your subscription is active.
- Make technical copies as needed to deliver the content internally (encoding, captioning workflows, LMS packaging).
- Keep and go on using, inside your organization, any content you downloaded and put to use while your subscription was active, even after it ends.
3. What you cannot do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the content outside your organization, including with customers, vendors, or partner organizations.
- Post the content publicly, in whole or in part, including on social media or public video platforms.
- Re-edit, remix, or create derivative works from the content, other than technical format conversions.
- Remove or alter attribution, watermarks, or metadata included in a release.
- Use the content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop machine learning or AI models.
4. Ownership
The content and everything in it remains our property. This license gives you rights to use it; it does not transfer ownership of anything.
5. Term and what happens when it ends
Your subscription runs as long as it is active and paid. If it lapses, is canceled, or a payment fails and is not resolved, two things stop: new monthly releases, and access to download anything from the catalog you had not already taken.
What does not stop is the content you already downloaded and put to use in your program (as defined in Section 1) while you were subscribed. That stays yours to keep using internally, on the same terms as this license, for good. You do not have to pull it out of your LMS. The only content you cannot keep is anything you did not both download and put to use while your subscription was active. All restrictions in Section 3 continue to apply to content you keep.
6. Non-exclusivity
The library is licensed non-exclusively. Other organizations and platforms license the same content. No one gets sole rights.
7. Warranty and liability
The content is provided as-is. We produce it carefully and professionally, but we make no warranties, express or implied, about fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability under this license is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Changes to this license
This is version 2. If we change the license, the version you accepted keeps applying to your subscription until you accept a newer one. The version and the date you accepted are recorded with your subscription.
